In celebration of National Poetry Month, poets came and read their own poetry.   The event, which took place on April 24, 2008 was a great success.   The Cabaret area of the Strand was overflowing with people.   Those in attendance got a quite a treat as we heard from poets ranging in age from 9 to 92.   The following poets read at this event:
