Our second Dinner and Movie was Grease.   The dinner Sold Out.   We had 85 people for dinner at the Strand.  That is our maximum number with our new stage seating.   Once again our friends at the Shelbyville Parks Department and Bears of Blue River Festival helped us with extra tables and chairs.

There were poodle skirts, letter jacket and plenty of hair creme represented.   Everyone had a good time and the food by Grandma’s Pancake House was excellent.

The next Dinner and a Movie is April 10, 2010.   Indiana Downs will be sponsoring and catering “Seabiscuit.”   For all our out of town readers, Shelbyville is home to an excellent horse track.  Indiana Downs has been a great supporter of the Strand since the day we started.   We are showing this film in conjunction with the start of their race season.    Located next to the Indiana Live! Casino, Indiana Downs has been making its mark on our local community through their support of projects such as the Strand.
