RETURN OF THE DURANGO KID 1945
It is Texas in 1875 and Kirby’s gang continues to rob the stage. But now, the Durango Kid, robs Kirby’s gang and returns the money to Mrs. Bancroft of the stage line. After that, he foils or robs the gang every time they try to make a heist. But Bill is really looking for evidence to clear the name of his dead father, the real Durango Kid.
APPOINTMENT WITH MURDER 1948
The Falcon is hired by an insurance company to recover two stolen paintings, a job that takes him across the country and then across the Atlantic to Italy. Before he knows it, his investigation leads him into a world of double-crosses and big-time art fraud.

Dr. John A. Ramsey, formerly of Shelbyville, will be at the Strand on September 16, 2010 to present his new book, Nino’s Epiphanies: A Chiropractor Explains to You and Your Doctor What Really Causes and Cures Back and Neck Pain. Dr. Ramsey will explain the unique method for treating pain he developed over the course of 45 years of practice on nearly 10,000 patients. Following his discussion and an audience question-and-answer session, copies of the book will be available for purchase and Dr. Ramsey will conduct a book-signing.

Anthony J. Ippolito was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After attending Canisius College in Buffalo, he enlisted in the Army Air Force in 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1946 with the rank of sergeant. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1949 from Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then pursued post-graduate studies in Nutrition and X-ray Interpretation in Radiology at Lincoln before establishing his practice in Buffalo, New York in 1950. After obtaining licenses to practice chiropractic in Vermont, Kentucky, and Indiana, he relocated his practice to Shelbyville, Indiana in 1959 under the name of Dr. John A. Ramsey. In 1994, having treated approximately 10,000 patients over 45 years, he retired from active practice. Throughout the1960s he wrote a weekly column on health topics for The Shelbyville News, and in 1988 he authored an article entitled “Biomechanics” for the October/November issue of Indy Sports Magazine. Dr. Ramsey currently lives in Florida.
