The final round of the Shelby Idol competition will be held at the Strand on Friday August 22, 2008 @ 7:00pm

The Semi-Final Auditions for the Shelby Idol competition will be held at the Strand on August 7, 2008 @ 7:00pm

On Saturday night June 21, 2008 the audience in Shelbyville was treated to a trio of great acts at our theatre.    First on the night was an acoustic set by Dave Scarzo.    Dave’s one man set was entertaining and diverse.

 Next up was the popular Indianapolis band Drop Claw.   These guys were great!   The gave a powerful 75 minute set.    Their single pick-up Stratocasters sounded great on the Strand house sound system.

 The final act of the night was the popular local band Satellite Blues.   They sounded great. 

If you haven’t been to the Strand for one of these concerts, you need to turn off the TV and come out!   This is a great value and outstanding entertainment.   These bands donate 100% of their talent to the Strand to help us get established.    They need to play to a full house, so please consider joining us for a great night of LIVE entertainement in downtown Shelbyville.     A big thanks to Smashed Productions, producers of these events.

Bible Harvest Chapel will be meeting at the Strand Theatre on June 29, 2008.   Joining them will be the Young Continentals.

We have performed in all 50 states and 76 countries. We have now established international groups in many different areas of the world including: South Africa, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Slovak Republic, France, Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Romania, and Singapore. These young people are being nurtured in their own countries to proclaim Christ in their own languages.
